Some dogs raw foods to add the calcium in the form of a food supplement only, but this adds in the bones of the earth, from what I read, is the best way. It also ensures that many of glucosamine and chondriten.
My dogs really love this food. The completely thawed in the refrigerator in less than 20 hours and is easy to use. I cinched the end and then cut with scissors to create what I need. For the piece that blends in some dogs dehydrated raw foods (like honest kitchen).
** Do not mix raw food with dry food. They digest at different speeds dramatically this can cause stomach upset. If you are a number of pieces make a different meal and feed separate the two at least 6 hours.
If you are looking for a good part of www.dogfoodanalysis.com. However, a frozen raw or dried crude will be tasty and nutritious for your dog.
It is good for this diet with some meaty bones as the first package of chicken filling. I give my dogs one or two every day or every other day. Packages of raw chicken are OK. For my Jack Russell Terrier I give smaller bones and cut the two bones together to make it easier to eat.
